Traineeship AI Engineering

Fulltime | 6 months | Amsterdam | Language: Dutch (native-level) & English (fluent)

‍As a Traineeship AI Engineer at AdamI, you turn your sharp analytical mind into hands-on engineering skills. You don't have a background in software development yet, but you have the ambition and the learning speed to build real AI solutions from day one, under the guidance of experienced engineers.

What you'll do

• Work through an intensive learning track: programming in Python, working with LLMs, building agents, and shipping solutions to production.
• Contribute to real client projects from the first weeks, with responsibilities that grow with your level.
• Take part in Working Hackathons, collaborative build sessions where we get to the core of a client problem by building together.
• Help develop our own products, including our private chat platform and AI agents.
• Build a portfolio of real projects you can actually show at the end of the programme.

• An intensive 6-month development track towards the role of AI Engineer, with daily coaching from experienced engineers.
• A monthly compensation of €1.000 during the traineeship.
• A clear growth path: after 6 months of strong performance, you move into a full AI Engineer role with a market-rate salary.

• Real responsibility from day one. This is not a shadow internship.

What you bring

• A completed or nearly completed university degree is preferred, but thinking level and learning speed matter more than your diploma.
• No prior experience in AI or software development is required, though some programming experience is strongly recommended. Above all, you bring the ambition to learn at pace.
• You are analytically strong, precise, and genuinely curious.
• You are available fulltime for 6 months.
• You speak fluent Dutch and English.
