To strengthen and scale this capability, we are looking for an experienced Director Business Development.

Role Overview

The Director Business Development is responsible for building and expanding strategic relationships with corporate organizations, with the goal of accelerating AI adoption and capability building. You translate market needs into concrete AI consultancy and talent deployment opportunities, and ensure AdamI is positioned as a trusted partner for AI transformation.

This role requires a combination of commercial leadership, strategic thinking, and a strong interest in AI and technology. You will work closely with the AdamI leadership team, consultants and ecosystem partners, and play a pivotal role in shaping our growth roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate & Mid-Market Business Development & Growth

Identify, develop and close strategic business opportunities with corporate and mid-market organizations
Build long-term executive-level relationships across key accounts
Position AdamI as a strategic AI consultancy and implementation partner
Develop account strategies aligned with our growth ambitions

AI Talent & Solutions Deployment

Shape opportunities around the deployment of high-talent AI consultants and experts
Align closely with delivery and recruitment on capability needs
Ensure a strong match between client challenges and AdamI’s expertise

Market Positioning & Partnerships

Act as a thought partner on AI adoption for senior stakeholders
Represent AdamI in strategic industry and executive networks
Help shape go-to-market propositions and positioning

The Ideal Profile

Master’s level (WO) work and thinking level
Proven track record in business development, commercial leadership or strategic account management within corporate and/or mid-market environments
Strong affinity with AI, technology, and digital transformation
Excellent strategic, analytical, and consultative skills
A natural network builder with existing executive-level relationships
Pragmatic, opportunity-driven, and execution-oriented
Comfortable operating in high-stake, complex stakeholder environments
Fluent in Dutch and English
